BeingShips EDD ("the App") is a Shopify app that displays an estimated delivery date widget on your store's product pages. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

Information We Collect

• Store information: Your shop domain (e.g., yourstore.myshopify.com) and an access token issued by Shopify when you install the App, used solely to authenticate the App with your store.
• Widget configuration: The pickup/warehouse pincode you enter in the widget's theme editor settings.
• Customer pincode input: When a customer enters their pincode to check delivery estimates, that pincode is sent to our servers to calculate an estimated delivery date. It is used only for this calculation and is not linked to any customer identity or stored against a customer profile.

How We Use Information

Data collected is used exclusively to operate the App's core function: calculating and displaying an estimated delivery date on your product pages. We do not sell or share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

Store access tokens are retained while the App remains installed. If you uninstall the App, your store's data is deleted from our systems within 48 hours, in line with Shopify's data protection requirements.

GDPR Compliance

The App implements Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks (customer data request, customer redact, shop redact) to support data subject rights.
